Lilac Festival in Rochester NY

Rochester’s famous Lilac Festival is a lavish array of flowers, attractions and special events that signal the arrival of Spring.

After a stop for lunch we will arrive at Highland Park, the site of the Lilac Festival.  Here, we will be guided through the many gardens loaded with spring flowers and enjoy the fragrant aroma of the thousands of lilac blooms.

The 1,200 plus lilac in Highland Park create a floral rainbow ranging from the deepest purples to the purest of white to make this the largest celebration of its kind in North America.

More than 100 artists, crafters, and exhibitors will be on hand for this year’s Arts and Crafts show with an emphasis on handmade gifts and crafts.

Then our local guide will take us on a tour of the city which will highlight such sights as the High Falls/Brown’s Race Historic District with it’s 96-foot Falls that was used to power Rochester when it was the center of the flour industry, the historical, cultural and recreational areas.  After a delightful time in Rochester, we will depart or home with a stop for dinner at The Colorado Mine Co, Steakhouse included in the tour.  Admission to Highland Park Lilac Festival Events, Guided tour of Rochester, Dinner, Deluxe Motorcoach Transportation, Services of a local step-on-guide.

Daniel O'Donnell in Ottawa

The entertainer has enjoyed worldwide success in recent years with his unique blend of country music, 60’s pop, inspirational ballads & Irish standards.  Featured on seven  nationally televised PBS  specials in the U. S. (including 2007’s Daniel O’Donnell Can You Feel The Love).  O’Donnell’s live show is especially popular.  It’s not uncommon for O’Donnell’s concerts to sell out within minutes of going on sale, and the shows are often requested destinations for group bus tours.  O’Donnell’s easy-going, entertaining on stage personality makes each live show an exciting event; in addition to the usual set list, different songs are sprinkled in each evening and the on stage patter and audience participation give each show a new and distinct feel.

Come and enjoy an Evening of Entertainment at the ScotiaBank Place (ticket include) and Dinner (included) in Ottawa at Baton Rouge before the show.

*Dinner is choice of Prime Rib or Salmon, Caesar Salad, Dessert and Tea or Coffee.
